On 16 November 2010, the Wholesale Applications Community (WAC) announced the addition of nine new members, taking its membership to 57 companies. The new members are Aepona, Camber Tech, GClue, Gemalto, Infraware, KT Innotz, Sharp and Sony Ericsson, which join as associate members, and VimpelCom, which joins as an operator member. A week later, the community announced the beta release of its handset runtime software, known as Waikiki, with the full release still scheduled for the first quarter of 2011.
