Vodafone UK pitches new music product as networks expect a musical Christmas

Vodafone UK has partnered with UK based Omnifone to offer its MusicStation service to Vodafone customers.
The service allows users to rent access to a library of over 1 million songs at a cost of £1.99 per week (£7.96 per month). The first week will be offered free of charge to users.
Omnifone has partnered with four major record companies (Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, EMI Music and Warner Music Group) and several independent labels.
The service will be commercially available in November 2007.
