Symbian Completes Move to Open Source, But What's Changed?

On 4 February 2010 the Symbian Foundation announced that it had completed the open-source release of code for the Symbian platform. A total of 108 source-code packages can now be freely downloaded from Symbian's developer Web site under the terms of the Eclipse Public License. Development kits for Symbian^3 are also available.
