Spotify's Search for Revenue Unlikely to Be Solved by Mobile Clients

On 23 November 2009, Spotify announced the availability of its music streaming application for Symbian mobile phones. The application is only available to Spotify's Premium subscribers, who pay £9.99 a month for access to music streams without advertising.

In separate news, Swedish network operator Telia has started to bundle the Spotify service in a range of broadband and mobile packages. This follows an agreement between the two companies announced on 8 October 2009.
