Speculation grows about Palm's future

A number of news reports have suggested that device manufacturer Palm Inc has hired Morgan Stanley to advise on its "strategic options." These reports follow speculation that both Motorola and Nokia were considering Palm as an acquisition target. Other reports suggested a private equity deal for the company.
