O2 launches Cocoon – an own-branded, music centric device

News:

O2 has launched the Cocoon – a clamshell phone sourced from original design manufacturer (ODM) Pantech and using Qualcomm’s BREW uiOne software.

Key features include:

  • 3G WCDMA / HSDPA and quad-band GSM support
  • 2GB of built-in memory plus expandable memory using a microSD card
  • Built in music player with dedicated music buttons on the edge of the device
  • A “glow through” LED screen on the front of the phone to display the time, messages, music tracks and other information
  • FM radio with RDS
