Nokia Underlines Commitment to Music with Sony BMG Deal and Two New Phones

On 21 April 2008, Nokia announced that Sony BMG Entertainment will participate in its Comes With Music service. Nokia has already signed up Universal Music Group and is in discussions with other record labels. When the Comes With Music service launches in the second half of 2008, it will offer buyers of selected Nokia phones 12 months' free access to a catalogue of millions of tracks. After 12 months, customers can keep all the music they have downloaded.

Nokia also announced two new mobile phones, the 5220 XpressMusic and 5320 XpressMusic. Both handsets are expected to start shipping in the third quarter of 2008 and will cost €160 and €220 respectively, before taxes and subsidies.
