New iPhone 3G Set to Break Sales Target as Apple Opens Up to Subsidies

On 9 June 2008, Apple unveiled the long-awaited iPhone 3G at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The new device will be available in 70 countries during 2008, starting with 22 markets on 11 July. The device will be priced at $199 for an 8GB model and $299 for a 16GB version.
