New Members Make LiMo a Stronger Contender

On 14 May 2008, the LiMo Foundation announced several new members of its organisation, which is creating a Linux-based platform for mobile phones. The new partners are Infineon Technologies, Kvaleberg, Mozilla, Red Bend Software, Sagem Mobiles, SFR, SK Telecom and Verizon Wireless. They join founding members Motorola, NEC, NTT DoCoMo, Orange, Panasonic, Samsung and Vodafone, and 26 other companies, including network operators, handset manufacturers and semiconductor companies.
