Motorola bolsters Enterprise Mobile strategy in tie up with Microsoft

Microsoft has unveiled a “unified communications” strategy focusing on voice conferencing, instant messaging, mobile connectivity, voice over IP and collaboration through services such as web conferencing. These services will form the cornerstone of its new 2007 office system products.

As part of the announcement Microsoft identified several partners including Motorola.

It stated that Motorola will deliver “mobile devices and network hardware based on Office Communications Server 2007 and Office Communicator Mobile.”

Other partners announced by Microsoft were HP and Siemens.
