Mobile Network Operators Rush to Offer Unlimited Services Despite Risks

In recent months, most mobile network operators have added "unlimited" elements to their tariffs. For example, in March UK operator 3 launched its Texter plans, which offered unlimited text messages for £25 a month. In early 2008, T-Mobile unveiled prepaid packages that included unlimited text bundles. And Apple's iPhone has been sold with unlimited data plans since its launch in 2007.
