Swedish mobile navigation services company Wayfinder announced that it has acquired Navicore - a Finnish based company also offering personal / mobile navigation services.
The combined company is capable of delivering navigation solutions across all the leading mobile devices software platforms (Symbian S60 / UIQ, Microsoft Windows Mobile, Nokia Linux Tablet (Maemo), RIM Blackberry and MIDP 2.0 Java which offers support for multiple mid tier handsets).
The new entity will have a combined user base of over one million customers with more than 200,000 paying users.
