Highlights from 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, USA has seen a number of manufacturers reveal new products. Most announcements have been focused on delivering products for the North American market, although some devices will also be available on a wider geographical basis.

Key announcements came from the following manufacturers:

  • Sony Ericsson: two Walkman phones (W350 / W760) and a “fashion” phone (Z555)
  • Motorola: ROKR E8 (“morphing” music phone), Z10 (kick slider using Symbian / UIQ) and two new lower tier W-series devices (W230 / W270)
