LG has revealed that it has sold 200,000 units of its KU990 “Viewty” phone in three weeks across fourteen European countries. Key markets include the UK and Germany where Apple’s iPhone is also available.
It was also revealed this week that French “customised device manufacturer” ModeLabs is working to deliver a high end mobile phone with watch manufacturer Tag Heuer. This provides further evidence of market demand for higher tier products.
