France Telecom's 2006 results indicate slow take-up of converged services

France's leading telecommunications group published its full year results for 2006 reporting revenue of €51.7 billion ($68 billion), up 1.2 percent on a year on year basis.

Operating income was €7 billion, compared with €10.5 billion in 2005, partly because of an impairment charge of €2.8 billion relating to its UK, Polish and Dutch businesses.
