Everyone's a Winner as AT&T Buys Qualcomm's 700 MHz Spectrum

On 10 December 2010, Qualcomm announced that it will shut down its FLO TV broadcast network in March 2011. In separate news, the company confirmed that AT&T will acquire the frequencies it owns in the 700 MHz spectrum band for more than $1.9 billion. The deal is expected to be finalised in the second half of 2011 and is subject to regulatory approval.
