The International CTIA Wireless 2011 show was held between 22 and 24 March in Orlando, Florida. The show offered few headline announcements, with the proposed acquisition of T-Mobile USA by AT&T dominating discussion. AT&T's deal meant many news items and announcements at the show received more scrutiny and took on a deeper significance, underlining the complexity and importance of the acquisition.
