On 1 September 2010, Steve Jobs unveiled a range of new products and software updates at Apple's Fall 2010 event. Mr Jobs stated that Apple will soon release iOS 4.1, and iOS 4.2 will follow in November, focusing on software enhancements to the iPad, such as wireless printing and AirPlay for sharing media with other devices.

Mr Jobs also revealed the new iPod range and the latest incarnation of Apple TV. He also introduced iTunes 10, which upgrades some features and introduces Ping, a new "social network for music" that allows iTunes users and iTunes-listed bands to connect, communicate and share recommendations.
