Apple delays Mac OS X launch to focus resources on the iPhone

On 12th April 2007 Apple confirmed in a statement that the latest version of its Mac OS X (codenamed Leopard) would be delayed by four months.

Apple said it needed to allocate additional engineering and quality assurance resources to its much anticipated iPhone which it has committed to launch in June 2007 with US network operator Cingular / AT&T.
