Ukrainian mobile operator, Astelit has signed a cooperation agreement with 3 Italia (which is owned by Hutchison Whampoa) to launch mobile services in Italy. Astelit wants to target the increasing number of Ukrainians living in Italy with a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) proposition to deliver competitive pricing for calls between Italy and Ukraine. The service called “Life:)” will be commercially available in first half of 2008.
