“3” UK acquires 95 additional retail outlets from O2 as part of The Link

News: 

O2 acquired The Link in June 2006 (see CCS Insight Hotline 25-2006: O2 goes on acquisition trail buying “Be” broadband and taking control of The Link”) which owned approximate 300 stores nationwide. It has subsequently been disposing of stores that are surplus to O2’s requirements.

As a result of the deal “3” will re-brand seventy three Link stores and twenty two O2 stores with the staff in those stores transferring to “3”.
